Stenography is known as “Twin Art” since it is unique combination of Shorthand and Typewriting. Stenography is indispensable in business, profession, vocation and administration wherever it is desirable to have a quick and neat record of the spoken words and getting it transcribed from shorthand to longhand on the Typewriter/ Computer. The course covers all the principles of PTMAN’s phonetic system. This skill is being included in the curriculum as many students have the aptitude towards this particular area. Besides, its knowledge provides early employment opportunities. It is expected that the learners, after getting training in this field, will not face difficulty in getting suitable jobs. After completion of the course the learner will be able to get job of Stenographers, Office Assistants, and Clerk and also be able to get Self employment by taking up secretarial related work on contract from various offices or Opening small institute of self to impart training.
