Objectives
Electricity is one of today’s most useful sources of energy. Electricity becomes a necessity in the modern world of sophisticated equipment and machinery. This arose a high demand of skilled technician required for servicing and maintaining the electrical equipment, to cope up with this need NIOS has designed the course on “Electrical technician“.
This course cover 2 modules which deals with electricity, House wiring and repairing of electrical appliances and transformer & Motor rewinding and pump operation & maintenance.
After going through this course the learner will be able to understand the processes of different types of house wiring and functions of various types of electrical appliances and their repairing, he can also identify faults and their rectification techniques.
